Allen has been the Chief Executive Officer of TIH Investment Management Pte Ltd since June 2014. Prior to that, Allen held management positions in Argyle Street Management Limited and Credit Asia Capital for seven years, and was responsible for deal origination, structuring and the execution of special situations investments in Southeast Asia and China covering a variety of industries. Allen began his career in Analyst and Associate positions with The Transportation Group, Seabury Group and D. B. Zwirn Asia Partners.

Allen received his bachelor's degree in Accounting from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in Canada, and holds a Master of Arts in Statistics from the Columbia University in New York. Allen is also a CFA charterholder.
